Setting Up Email Is Easy, Isn't It?
With all of the devices now we use to stay connected, email is more important than ever. While you may have gotten an email with the configuration for your account, this page is a pretty good substitute.
NOTE: We highly recommend to setup your email to use SSL and TLS encryption for your connections.
Typical Settings Required
- Server Type: IMAP
- SMTP/IMAP Server: secure.emailsrvr.com
- Username: You must use you FULL email address (eg. [email protected])
- Password: You should have been provided this with your account setup
- SMTP Authentication (Incoming Server): Plain
- IMAP Port (Incoming Server): 993
- IMAP Encrypted Connection (Incoming Server): SSL/TLS
- SMTP Authentication (Outgoing Server): Automatic
- SMTP Port (Outgoing Server): 465
- SMTP Encrypted Connection (Incoming Server): SSL/TLS
POP3 Variations
- Server Type: POP3
- SMTP/POP3 Server: secure.emailsrvr.com
- POP3 Port (Incoming Server): 995
- POP3 Encrypted Connection (Incoming Server): SSL/TLS

Testing Your Email
- Test to make sure you have an Internet Connection

- Send a message from another email account to your new account

- Login to Oracast Webmail (good password test) at https://oracast.mymailsrvr.com/

Please contact Oracast Support to order this if required. IMAP allows syncronization of messages between devices as all messages remain stored on the Oracast mail servers.
Using the Google Mail Fetcher
If you would like to use your email account in Gmail, the best option is to setup the Google Mail Fetcher. Here are the instructions on how to set up Google Mail Fetcher for your email account:
- Log into your Gmail account.
- Click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page and select Settings.
- Click the Accounts tab and locate the Check mail from other accounts (using POP3) section.
- Click Add a POP3 mail account you own.
- Enter the full email address of the account from which you'd like mail fetched.
- Click Next Step.
- In the Password field, enter the password for the email address you provided.
- Select Port 110 for a POP3 connection. For a secure email connection, use Port 995.
- Click the checkboxes next to the options that best suit your needs:
- Leave a copy of retrieved messages on the server (UNCHECKED)
- Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail * (CHECKED)
- Label incoming messages (OPTIONAL)
- Archive incoming messages (OPTIONAL)
- Click Add Account.
After successfully adding your account, you'll also have the option of making the added account a custom From address. This will allow you to compose messages in Gmail but have them appear to be sent from your other email account.
