Before every update we make a backup of your site. In the event an update fails we will try to correct the issue immediately, however if the issue cannot be resolved quickly, we use the backup copy to restore the website to its working form. Failed updates are infrequent, but it can happen usually from a plugin or version conflict.

For major updates we will make a copy of your website and place it on a development server where we test the updates before applying to the production server. This approach helps minimize downtime and gives our team a chance to appropriately update your website in a low-pressure manner.
