Project Summary
Beyond Boardrooms owns and manages Teamo; a unique, interactive and engaging employee recognition and rewards program. Teamo was created in response to client request for an effective means to address issues of employee performance and loyalty through recognition and reward. Beyond Boardrooms has been providing employee incentive solutions through our proprietary recognition programs since 2007. They have designed their systems to cost effectively facilitate business and organizations of all sizes and serve clients with as few as two or three employees up to organizations whose employees’ number in the thousands. Oracast was brought on board to rewrite and reimagine the web application from the ground up.

“They are completely engaged. I feel as though they could be working from our office. The skills and abilities they possess more than meet our needs but I would say the collaboration between them and our group and the feeling that they sincerely want to see us succeed is one of the reasons that we have stayed with them for nearly 15 years."

The Challenge
To build a new rewards and recognition platform to help drive employee engagement and retention all while allowing the migration from the dated platform seamlessly. Keep scalability and security top of mind along with budget and timelines.
The Approach
Oracast had to engineer and design the program in its entirety leveraging the experience of maintaining the previous version. We were able to work within some limitations set out front and focus our efforts on the critical items that would create the most benefit to Teamo and their customers, leaving less valuable features to future phases. This phased approach meant we could provide solutions and security, and continue develop existing software to ensure that it remains current and provides a trouble free solution to Teamo customers.
Customer Q&A: Describe Oracast's project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
“Oracast has always gone above and beyond in terms of response. Over the many years that we have worked with him I do not recall a single situation where I felt that I could not reach out and connect if I had a question or concern. Exceptionally diligent, quick to respond. This is part of the overall exceptional customer service they provide."
The Outcome
The new version of the Teamo web app allowed for the integration of a newly development mobile app giving customers plenty of flexibility. In addition, some late changes to the concept of the new system change how some Teamo customers engage daily and greatly improved the overall engagement in the platform. The new “feed”, automations, and most importantly 3rd party API integrations mean that the Teamo staff have been able to greatly decrease their workload handling rudimentary tasks and focus more on their customer and taking Teamo to the next level.
Oracast’s experience allowed us to provide suggestions for change or improvement which have kept Teamo current in a competitive industry and able to provide a well received and cost-effective solution to their clients.
